Best-Selling Comic Books of July 2015

Hey everyone, thank you for reading! The sales for July 2015 came in and we will look at how each company did when we get a chance to look at the Top 10 Comic Books!

Let’s go!

  1. Secret Wars #4
  2. Star Wars Lando #1
  3. Civil War #1
  4. Star Wars #7
  5. Batman #42
  6. Darth Vader #7
  7. Archie #1
  8. The Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows #2
  9. Age of Apocalypse #1
  10. Guardians of Knowhere #1

This list looks really annoying if you ask me. 8 Marvel Comic Books which is just crazy!  Marvel Tops themselves a bunch, but I hate how they manage to do it in such a cheap way. It really annoys how Marvel needs to release new #1s every year in order to make money. Not just a couple #1s, but a whole line of them! And this year we will get the 2x the #1s treatment because after Secret Wars we will get a reboot. What the hell? Are you really that desperate Marvel? Not to say you produce bad comic books because some of those are really good, but some are also just an attempt at money grabbing.

Next we see DC with only 1 comic book on here and that is no other than Batman. If you wonder Justice League #42 is on number 11 spot. It really sucks that the DC Comics don’t preform so well when your only money maker is Batman and the Justice League. At least they don’t go the Marvel cheap route and re-release a series when a character gets a new status quo. No matter what happens to the characters they will still continue with their series (unless they die). I am glad that people still buy Batman even if Jim Gordon is that character. Hopefully Justice League will manage to stay on the Top 10 on August charts.

Next we also have a new player on the field! Well old player, but with a huge come back! Archie Comics! They managed to be on #8 because Archie #1 came out and gave us a brand new look, status quo and a great writer. I am hoping that Archie Comics will continue to do well and maybe stay more often on Top 10 from time to time. Here are my hopes.

Do you agree with me? Tell me in the comments, like, share, Scooby-Dooby-Doo! and stick to Comic Booger for more great content. See ya!
